I use this on a sailing yacht for short-shore tender use on a 3m 4-person dinghy. I use with a 50 ah battery (not lithium) and I get 30 mins use between charges. Could readily double the battery but prefer the light weight. The short shaft is much preferred for tender/dinghy use (having had a long shaft previously). If you are clear on the type of light use you want this does the job well. Well manufactured and packaged.

Box is great with a usb a and 12v cigarette socket..also has a led indicator on which is better on the motor already but always a plus if using box elsewhere...overall I would recommend this box ...fits my 100ah tayna marine battery very well!

Not got round to using other than a dry test but this motor feels very well made and sturdy and of quality. A good weight to the motor and constructed from what feels like iron!!! The propellor is composite but all in all I cannot wait to get out there!

I have used these for many years. I have a 1003 Torqeedo it's propeller is £100 to replace. A small adjustment with the Bisson prop and it works great.

This handle is part of the best trolling motor I have ever owned.

Got quite a bit of power. I used it in Anglesey on a 3.3m bison boat with 3 other adults, and it gets up to a decent speed on level 5 (top speed), and doesn't use much battery power on level 4. I had 2 85Ah batteries with me. You will get about 2 hours with one battery (to 40% charge...i didn't want to run them flat, even though they are deep cycle) on level 4. No idea how far we went, but I was impressed. I would estimate we were doing about 10mph on top speed setting and 6mph on level 4.

I’m very happy with the 80lbs brushless outboard motor that I recently purchased from Bison. The motor is powerful to manoeuvre 3 people in a boat around a reservoir in high wind conditions, no problem.
The service and advice received was fantastic, I would highly recommend using these guys.
